all bred by the exhibitor and entered under the
exhibitor's name, multiple ownership permitted
Amateur Handler
- To be shown in-hand by Amateur or Jr/YR with a current
USEF Amateur card. Open to fillies/mares and geldings in
any age group. No stallions or colts except weanlings.
To be judged on presentation of the animal to the judge,
neatness and appearance of the handler, overall
condition of the animal, handling techniques,
appropriate tack and equipment, demonstration of correct
training and ability to show horse to the best of its
ability.
22. Amateur Handler – class to be divided JR and AA if
entries warrant
Materiale Classes
- Horses will be evaluated under saddle at
walk/trot/canter and evaluated according to the criteria
listed on the "USDF Materiale Class Scoresheet" and
classes must be conducted according to USEF rules
(DR133) and the USDF "Procedures to Host USDF Materiale
Classes." Ages may be combined if entries warrant
however classes for Fillies and Mares may not be
combined with classes for Colts, Geldings and Stallions.

Under Saddle Classes -
entries shall be shown at the walk/trot/canter both ways
of the ring. Judging to be weighted 60% Movement, 30%
Confirmation, and 10% General Impression.
27. Fillies - 3 years old (2005)
28. Colts/Geldings - 3 years old (2005)
29. Mares - 4 year and older
30. Stallions/Geldings - 4 year and older
31. Suitable to Become a Dressage Horse - open to horses
under 7 years of age not competing above First Level
32. Under Saddle Championship - open to 1st and 2nd
place from 27 thru 31.
Sport Pony
33. Sport Pony Under Saddle - open to ponies of any age
and breeding 14.2 hands and under
34. Sport Pony In Hand - open to ponies of any age and
breeding 14.2 hands and under
Individual Breed Classes (IBC)
35. Class will be divided by breeds as interest
warrants. Entries must submit copy of breed papers.
Awards:
Six ribbons for each class except championship classes
which will be awarded Champion and Reserve ribbons only.
Fees:
In-hand & Under Saddle classes - $35. Group Classes -
$20 per horse. No fee for Championship classes.
Include $12 USEF Drug Fee and non-refundable $10 Office
Fee per horse.
All entries must submit USEF documents for
handler/rider, owner and trainer or include $20 USEF
non-member fee and/or $5 discipline fee if applicable.
All entries must submit USDF documents for rider, owner
and horse. USDF documents are not required for handler
and trainer.
A $10 fee will be charged for changes and incomplete
entries. Non-negotiable checks will be charged $25. Post
entries will be accepted with a $20 post entry fee.
Please enclose negative coggins dated within 12 months
of show. Make checks payable to Central Maine Dressage
Association. No refunds after the closing date.
****ATTENTION COMPETITORS****
Each competitor is responsible for supplying management
with correct association numbers (USDF, United States
Equestrian Federation) for horse, owner, rider, and
trainer, before the day(s) of the competition. The
scores of competitors who fail to supply correct numbers
may not be counted toward national awards.
Times: Times will be posted on the website, www.espritequestriancenter.com,
one week before the competition.
Stabling: No stabling on grounds. Stabling is available
nearby. Contact show manager for more information.
